Hi, I'm Marika-

rhymes with "paprika."

Being able to hold space for all of the pieces that come together to make your story what it is, is one of my greatest joys. I will never take for granted how lucky I am that I am constantly welcomed to observe some of the most monumental parts of your story.

I’ve spent most of my life obsessing over stories: reading them, writing them, and trying to live one worth telling. In another life, I’d be a best-selling romance author, tucked away in a little cottage writing about slow burn romances, grand gestures, and happy endings.

For now, I get my storytelling fix by capturing real-life love stories — messy, magical, and monumental — just like yours.

I always knew I wanted a life built around meaning, emotion, and freedom. Photography gave me all of that — and more. Since starting out in 2019, I’ve built a business that’s rooted in connection, trust, and a deep love for those blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments.

These days, I spend my time chasing light, happy tears, and fleeting, in-between moments, with clients who aren't afraid to laugh, cry, and be their whole selves in front of the camera.

I am more than just another vendor — I’m someone who will support you, hold your bouquet, care for you & your people, cry real tears during your vows, and quietly capture the most meaningful moments of your day.

I can't wait to cry at your wedding.
